Hello there. My name is AJ Morrison. I am a licensed and insured General Contractor in Grand Junction, Colorado. My love for working with my hands has taken me on many great journeys in my life. Straight out of high school I started working in bike shops as a mechanic. I went from a new guy to one of the best in the company in just a couple of years. When I decided I wanted a new challenge I went out and got myself hired by a professional road racing team. I loved that job and had the great privilege of working with some of the best female cyclists in the world. I have gotten to spin wrenches for national champions and Olympic athletes. The life on the road was fun but I wanted more steady work. That’s when I decided to start working for a friend’s dad in Greenwood Village, Colorado doing remodels on homes. He taught me more than I am sure even he knew, lit a passion in me, and gave me a career that I love.
In early 2020 I asked a girl out for beers and six months later I put a ring on her finger. Just three months after that she became my bride and we started a journey of life together. After spending some time renting we decided we both wanted to buy our own house and we wanted out of the Denver area. Somehow we landed in Grand Junction and couldn’t be happier here. We have two crazy little dogs, and love spending as much time as we can outside exploring. She has also been gracious enough to let me use the garage as a wood working shop. I finally have a place I can create beautiful custom wood furniture and décor. In May of 2023 she made me a dad to a beautiful baby girl. And that has been so much fun getting to start that journey.
